If you do the Apache exercises as described in The Laboratory tutorial (or rather, if you do not follow the recommendation to backup you original configuration files) and in the process mess up httpd.conf, please download and substitute with the unspoiled version found below.

Alternative: The default installation of Apache keeps a backup file hidden down the following directory path:

Macintosh HD > private > etc > apache2 > original > httpd.conf

Substitute Macintosh HD with the name of your system hard disk/partition. To get to the hidden file, invoke Go > Go to Folder… in Finder and type/enter:

/private/etc/apache2/original/
